OPEN CALL FOR THE SECOND EDITION OF THE "LWOWRO" PROGRAMME, DEDICATED TO CULTURAL MANAGERS FROM UKRAINE

The idea of “LWOWRO” programme, launched in 2017, is to create space, where participants can get to know each other and share experience and competencies also with other Polish cultural managers, in order to build a sustainable international network. The project connects theoretical input (trainings and workshops) with practical activities. Last year, the capital of Lower Silesia hosted six representatives of the cultural community from Lviv. The program included meetings devoted to architectural education, collective memory and workshop work on the implementation of a joint project.

The call is addressed to cultural managers living in Ukraine, interested in developing their competencies and skills, and fond of collaborative work with artists, activists, managers from other countries and expending their network. The cultural managers should at the time of applying work actively on Lviv’s or Lviv’s region cultural scene.

Selected applicants will receive accommodation, refound of travel expenses up to PLN 500 and daily allowance (20 €) during meetings in Wrocław. We offer workshops with experts from the culture field and study visits in cultural hubs and institutions of Wrocław.

HOW TO APPLY?

Application forms can be submitted only in English via e-mail at: katarzyna.zielinska@strefakultury.pl until 28th of February 2020, 24:00 CET. The e-mail’s subject should be comprised of the title “LWOWRO”.

PROGRAMME SCHEDULE:

LWOWRO will take place both in Wrocław and Lviv on the following dates:

22-26th of April 2020 -> Wrocław

21-25th of July 2020 -> Wrocław

19-21st of August 2020 -> Lviv

4-6th of November 2020 -> Lviv

Participants are supposed to take active part and co-create all the meetings both in Wrocław and Lviv and participate in workshops and trainings.

The programme is one of international activities organised by Culture Zone Wroclaw. It’s main purpose is to support and promote activities of individuals representing various fields of art and culture or active in border areas between them, interested in cooperating with representatives of local communities and environments as well as eager to build international cultural relations.
