“BERLINSalonWROCŁAW” – a new series of meetings between Berliners and Wrocław residents

"Potential of cities. Culture and the development of urban space" is the topic of the first talk to take place on 25th March. The vice-mayor of Wroclaw - Magdalena Piasecka, the mayor of Berlin and senator for culture and Europe - Klaus Lederer, and the director of the Wrocław Culture Zone - Krzysztof Maj invite representatives of the creative and civic communities from both cities.

“BERLINSalonWROCŁAW” is a new space for the residents of Wrocław and Berlin to meet and talk about culture and the dynamics of urban space development, for joint activities and projects, as well as for an exchange of experiences and cooperation opportunities in the context of integration of cities and regions in Europe. The first edition of the forum will take place on Sunday, 25th March at 11:00-13:00 at the OP ENHEIM House for Culture at Plac Solny in Wrocław. People active in the field of culture and art, as well as coordinators and animators of social and civic initiatives, are invited to participate. Due to the limited number of seats, the organisers kindly ask for a confirmation of participation by 19th March at info@openheim.org.

“BERLINSalonWROCŁAW” is a joint project of OP ENHEIM and “Berlin – Wrocław: the Culture Train”, developed in cooperation with the Wrocław City Hall, Culture Zone Wrocław and Stiftung Zukunft Berlin.

The organisers would like to thank the Berlin Senate for Culture and Europe, the Consulate General of Germany in Wroclaw and all partners for help and support in the implementation of the forum on 25th March.

Persons interested in cooperation between Wrocław and Berlin, especially in the creative sector, are also invited to a discussion panel devoted to this topic as part of the international conference AIR Wro Talks 3.0 on 16th March at 18:00, Barbara, ul. Świdnicka 8B.
