Grafikwerkstatt: call for a residency in Dresden

The City of Wrocław, in cooperation with the sister City of Dresden, invites artists living and creating in Wrocław, and specializing in graphic design, to submit their applications within the framework of a call for a residency in one of the oldest and most important graphics studios - Grafikwerkstatt in Dresden.

The residency exchange for artists active in the field of workshop graphics has been organised by the City of Wrocław and the City of Dresden for three years. Thanks to it, Natalia Tarnawa, Katarzyna Roman and Dominika Ziober-Król could work in Dresden. In Wroclaw, on the other hand, we hosted, among others, Mechthild Mansel and Theresa Wenzel, who worked in the Engravers House and the City Gallery.

Applications, consisting of a CV, cover letter, portfolio and a declaration of availability in the time proposed by the organizers, should be submitted in paper version in the secretary's office of the Cultural Division of the City Office of Wrocław (Gabriela Zapolska Street 4, room 304) 8:00 -15: 00 at the latest by the 28th of December 2018 (until 15:00).

Selection of applications will be carried out by a jury consisting of artists and educators of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Wrocław, representative of the Culture Zone Wrocław and representatives of the Cultural Division of the City of Wrocław.
