“Lives in Between” – open day at OP ENHEIM

Lives in Between is an interdisciplinary artistic project intended to analyse and reflect on the existing similarities between Berlin and Wrocław, based on the history and architecture of both cities.

The aim of the project is to show the relationship between space, time and past. OP ENHEIM, as an example of a living history of the city, is an excellent starting point for further analysis focusing on Hans Poelzig’s architectural works existing in both cities: the Four Domes Pavilion in Wrocław and the Radio House (Haus des Rundfunks) in Berlin.

You will be able to see both the restored and completely new spaces of the former Oppenheim House during a guided tour led by Renata Bardzik-Miłosz, accompanied by Anna Katalin Nemeth, Oli Pinchbeck, Jakub Olejnik, Darek Dzugan, with visual material prepared by Louis Volkmann.

The guided tours will start at the following hours (only in polish):

1st tour: 12:00 - 13:10
2nd tour: 13:15 - 14:25
3rd tour: 14.30 - 15:40 // all reserved

To ensure maximum comfort of visiting, the number of places is limited. If you wish to take part in the tour, please write to: visit@openheim.org.

Before or after the walk, you are most welcome to relax in the zone prepared in Plac Solny, where the performance crowning the project will be held at 4:00pm.

The project was created as part of Berlin_forum kultury_Wrocław initiated and implemented by Convivium Berlin e.V., Kulturzug / Train to culture and Strefa Kultury Wrocław as part of the AIR Wro program - in cooperation with OP ENHEIM. Projects Lives in Between and The Space in Between are supported and funded by the Senate of the City of Berlin for Culture and Europe.
