Pracownia Komuny Paryskiej 45 is a place for an artistic activity and exchange of experiences between the local community and the invited artists and activities organisers. The cultural activities which take place here are mostly intended to integrate the local community, and in the long term, revitalise and change the aspect of the whole Przedmieście Oławskie. The studio is open for the citizens of all age – so far it has been a place where a number of art activities for children and activating programmes for seniors, as well as exhibitions, concerts, film screenings and information meetings for all residents of the neighbourhood were organised.
Cultural activity at Przedmieście
The purpose of Pracownia is to share culture free of charge, engage the residents in participating, and also organise cultural and activating, social events. – We are waiting for submissions of ideas which will engage the residents and use the potential of Przedmieście Oławskie and the citizens of Wrocław. We are looking for managers with a programme of activities that will be taking place in Pracownia from March to December 2018. – says Bartosz Zubik, a coordinator of the contest. Thanks to its open formula, the participation in the contest is possible for residents of Przedmieście Oławskie as well as other parts of Wrocław, non-governmental organisation, social cooperatives or business entities. The winners will be rewarded 35 thousand zlotys to facilitate the execution of their programme, they will have a full access to the technical equipment of Pracownia and will be exempt from the rent and utility bills. Searching for a new manager will finish on 10th February. The results of the contest will be announced on 20 February 2018.
