WRO Art Center, together with 10 partners from leading European organizations and media art institutions, in December 2017 launched the European media art platform – EMAP (European Media Art Platform), which is the largest platform for artistic exchange and residencies for media artists in Europe.
During this year’s edition of AIR Wro Talks we undertake the theme of cooperation, networks and platforms created by operators of active culture in various parts of Europe, as well as beyond. The participation of the Wro Art Center in the EMAP/EMARE has not escaped our attention, especially since the group of partners involved in the European Media Art Platform & European Media Artists in Residence Exchange is really impressive. We are therefore pleased with the presence of Peter Zorn, who was a co-founder of the Werkleitz Association and the Saxony-Anhalt Media Art Center. In 1995, he initiated and has since managed the project European Artists in Residence Exchange (EMARE), which has developed and since 2018 is run as part of the European Miedia Art Platform (EMAP). Zorn will present EMAP / EMARE just after the opening of AIR Wro Talks – March 15th at 14:00 in Barbara.
