AIR Wro Talks 4.0: a Wrocław-based designer visually about boundaries

Autor: Culture Zone Wrocław

The AIR Wro Talks 4.0 conference will take place on 28th and 29th March in Wrocław, during which leading experts and practitioners will talk about Brexit, the opening of the cultural and art sector to people with various degrees of disability and modern strategies of promoting artists from specific regions or countries.

AIR Wro Talks 4.0 is also an opportunity for artistic reflection on the boundaries, which are the main idea of this year's edition. As part of the accompanying programme, we invite you to Barbara for a performance by Piotr Damasiewicz and to the Tętno Art and Design Gallery for the opening of the exhibition "Migratory Species" by Dominika Kulczyńska.

We invited Wrocław-based artists to interpret the boundaries also in the visual aspect of the conference. Ewa Głowacka, graphic designer and graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Wrocław and art history faculty at the University of Wrocław, has prepared a series of collages in which she presents her vision of the topics we deal with within AIR Wro Talks 4.0. In 2018, we invited Ewa Rebecca Służyńska, who prepared graphics related to the subject of the city and networking. Thanks to the cooperation between the graphic designers of the Culture Zone Wrocław and the representatives of the local scene, the main idea of each of the subsequent editions of the conference becomes more visible, and we give the space for expression to the female artists from Wrocław.
