WROsound – temperature is rising!

Hypnotising electronic music, masters of juggling conventions and the followers of the Philosophy of the Orient. The line-up of the first day of the WROsound Festival is joined by HVOB, Coals and Syny.

On 17 July, the stage in Społeczny Square will host HVOB – one of the most exciting electronic music powerhouses in Europe. The Vienna-based duo – Anna Müller and Paul Wallner – creates hypnotising productions with a hint of melancholy, which they play during their sold-out concert tours in America, Asia and Australia, among many others. At WROsound, they will perform live, accompanied by a drummer.

The Friday line-up was recently joined by Coals – masters of juggling conventions, who combine hip-hop with abstract beats and aesthetics of the 2000s. To date, the band has released an acclaimed debut album Tamagotchi and the Klan EP, as well as played concerts at various festivals, including Reeperbahn, Primavera Sound and Eurosonic. The duo has already announced a new release, promoted by two brand-new singles – “sleepwalker” and “pearls.”

In addition to their sounds, those who join us for the first day of the festival will have an opportunity to learn the Philosophy of the Orient, presented by the Syny rap duo. Piernikowski  and 1988 are famous for their visionary productions that leave no listener indifferent, as well as a their particular concert aura, which contributes to their perception as an emotional phenomenon. They presented their philosophy on their previously released albums Orient and Sen as well as in their solo releases: Piernikowski – No Fun and The best of moje getto, as well as 1988 – Gruda.

The three new bands join Thylacine, Meek, Oh Why, MIN t and WOODKID, who will play the final concert of the festival on 19 July. Tickets for this performance and 3-day tickets for concerts taking place from 17 to 19 July are already available. What is more, soon you will also be able to purchase 2-day passes and single-day tickets for 17 and 18 July.
