Komuny Paryskiej 45 Workshop
Komuny Paryskiej 45 Workshop located in Przedmieście Oławskie district is a space for artistic endeavours and exchange of experiences between the local community, invited artists and animators. The place is created jointly with residents of the district – the programme of the Workshop is developed together with its participants, taking into account their needs and experiences. The cultural and artistic activities undertaken there are aimed primarily at the integration of local community, with revitalisation and change of the image of the “Triangle” being its long-term goals. The rich history of the district, important social issues and building a positive image of the neighbourhood are inspiring for many creators. Through activities undertaken at the Workshop, Przedmieście Oławskie district is rediscovered anew not only by the local community, but also by residents of other parts of Wrocław.
The Workshop is an intergenerational place open to residents of all ages, offering artistic activities for children, activating programmes for seniors, as well as exhibitions, concerts and information meetings for people who want to change something around. Discussions and activities regarding all the matters important for the residents of the district help rekindle relations between them. Near the entrance to the Workshop, one can found the Suwaczek Gallery – the smallest art gallery in Przedmieście Oławskie district, run by the youngest artists from the neighbourhood.
