During a two-week study visit to Wrocław in July 2018, Anamarija Ranković got to know the daily practices of the WRO Art Center team, mainly in the area of cultural project management methodology, development of the author's art mediation programme, multifaceted work with the audience or the concept of “Active Art Archive”. During this time she also met with the public of the WRO Art Centre, showing them around the exhibition of the 4th Competition of the Best Media Art Diplomas.
During her stay in Wrocław, Ranković also visited other local cultural organisations and institutions, including the Bente Kahan Foundation and the Yellow Umbrella Association, in order to learn about their practices and exchange experiences in the field of art mediation, educational projects addressed to the youngest public, as well as audience development. Culture Zone Wrocław, in turn, presented its activities within the framework of the Neighbouring and Microgrants programmes.
Anamarija Ranković is the director of the Institute of Ruthenian Culture in Vojvodina (Serbia). She graduated from Media Engineering and Management at the University of Novi Sad. She gained her experience working as an editor and presenter at public radio stations in Serbia, where she dealt with issues related to the impact of Serbia's integration with the European Union on the Ruthenian minority. As an independent journalist she worked for Russian magazines and portals: “Руске слово”, “МАК”, “Календар” and “Minority news”. Since 2011 she has been a vice-president of the Media Board of the National Council of the Russian National Minority in Serbia, since 2016 she has been a member of the board of the Association of Russian Journalists (NAR), and since 2017 she has been a member of the board of the Institute of Journalism “Ruska Slovo”.
