Karolina Włodek, Karolina Balcer and Adam Martyniak are the members of Wykwit, a Wrocław-based artistic initiative and gallery, which has been invited to participate in the non-commercial contemporary art fair Supermarket in Stockholm in April this year. The fair presents unique ideas, galleries, project spaces, artist collectives and other initiatives run by artists from all over the world. Due to the extensive events programme, Supermarket is not just a regular fair. Equally important is the creation of space for building an international network of collaboration and exchange between self-organising artists and their initiatives. The theme of this year’s fair is “heritage”. The presentation by Wykwit will therefore refer to the old German house in which the members of the group live and work, and to the relations and emotions that they create in its space.
