Mo Abd Ulla, visual artist, curator of shows and workshops, lecturer and PhD student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. He creates a complex and diverse body of work that includes art-led intervention, installation art, drawing, sculpture, photography, video, text-based art, performance as a “sort of discursive argument”. his works were exhibited in various solo and group exhibitions. Mo curated number of shows and workshops. He has also participated in residency programmes and given presentations and lectures at art and design institutes around the world.

Mohamed was awarded Post-Master Architecture, Decolonising Architecture, Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm; MFA Fine Art, Oslo National Academy of the Arts; MArch Architectural Design, The Bartlett, UCL, London; MA Curating, Chelsea College of Art and design, UAL, London; Fine Art Research and Production Programme, Jan Van Eyck Academy, Maastricht and BA Fashion design, Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam.

Mo Abd Ulla, visual artist, will travel to Paris at the beginning of July as part of the Culture of Mobility programme, where he will carry out the MONU-MENT project. The artist will examine the issue of collective memory and memorials, as well as the historical evolution of monuments in France. Its primary aim is to try to answer the question: 'How can an artistic intervention be carried out at a time of intense social and political change?' The research is to result in the realisation of artistic works. The trip will be part of the Cité internationale des arts residency program, which is based on collaboration between artists and creative cultural practitioners, providing them with a dynamic and inspiring work environment.
