Robert Traczyk was born in 1991. He is currently studying directing at the 5th year at the Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow's Wrocław Branch. He is also a graduate of the Wrocław University of Technology at the Faculty of Computer Science and Management. Since 2017, after several technical and corporate episodes, he has decided to work with the theatre. He prepared the reading "Marcin, the eternal Arthur" at the Kombinat Theatre and "Wyzwolenie" at the Jan Kochanowski Theatre in Opole. Winner of the 'Dzieje się' Literary Competition. Assistant director of Aleksandra Popławska's play 'Short interviews with nasty people'. He is particularly associated with the Grotowski Institute in Wrocław. As part of "The Theatre on Facts", he produced plays: "TanzGala", "Men's Perspectives of Love", and "We will eat your children. With onions.". The project submitted to the fourth round of the Culture of Mobility programme concerned the support of the trip, work on the premiere of "Amazon Burns", directed by Przemysław Wojcieszek and Andreas Visser based on the text by Maja Staśko in KulturMArktHall. Traczyk created the lighting arrangement and sound realization. The beginning of December 2020 was the last week of rehearsals, possible without the participation of the audience. The performance will be able to be shown to the audience as soon as possible after removing pandemic restrictions.
