In 1960, Janusz Tarantowicz designed the symbolic "Good evening in Wrocław" neon sign, which was then placed on a block of flats in front of the Central Railway Station building. This project was the first neon of this size in the public space of the city, for many decades it was associated closely with the openness and kindness of the inhabitants of Wrocław. The figure evading the hat and expecting guests with a flower in hand seems to be symbolic for many visitors to Wrocław.
Meanwhile, in the courtyard at Ruska 46, you can find an archive of neon signs collected from all over Wrocław in one place. In this yard, the Culture Zone Wrocław opened its newest space - Reception - which we invite you to on October 18th after 9:00 pm. During the "City and Culture", an important aspect of our work has not escaped us: networking.
