June issue of the Guide is available online and in paper!

And we are finally back! After half a year, we are returning to you on paper.

Cover of June issue

Even though we have been and we are going to stay online, we believe that there is nothing better than The Guide in a printed variant – in other words, grab your pencils and start meticulously crossing out the events you are going to attend.

And there is quite a lot of them – in the event calendar (pages 33 through 67) you are going to find more than 120 of them! You do not need to worry about safety – they are organised in line with all the guidelines, which you simply need to approach with a modicum of understanding and… well, culture.

Be sure to visit the theatres – they are back in action at the very end of the theatre season, and their repertoires are chock-full of new plays. We hope that after reading Curtain up! some of you might decide to go and live in the theatre for a little while. In addition to the articles on festivals and reviews – both the postponed ones, as well as those usually taking place in June, such as the Stage Songs Review, SURVIVAL Art Review, Festival of High Temperatures and the Ruska 46 Backyard Celebration – this edition also features the regular columns. For the first time, “The Guide” features Joanna Plizga’s “Black Wrocław” in print – this time about the Kameleon Department Store, as well as the “Eco-glossary of a cultured person”, which concerns a flower meadow – an increasingly popular element of local landscape.

We will leave you off with the Latin word verte! – enjoy what we have prepared for you on the next pages, and see you soon! – as the culture in Wrocław is in full bloom this June.
