WOODKID – the first headliner of the WROsound Festival

We now know the name of the first artist slated to perform during this year's edition of WROsound Festival in Wrocław – it’s WOODKID, who is going to play the final concert of the event.

The Wrocław Culture Zone, organiser of the WROsound Festival, reveals the name of the first artist slated to play this summer in Wrocław. Yoann Lemoine, also known as WOODKID is a French musician, music video director and expert in graphic arts. To date, he released his debut album Golden Age, along with Iron EP and other releases featuring other artists, such as Nils Frahm, as well as records for other artists – including an EP for Louis Vuitton’s Nicolas Ghesquière. He also directed some of the well-known music videos for numerous artists, including Lana Del Rey, Pharrell, Drake and Taylor Swift.  In December last year, WOODKID announced that 2020 would bring his second album, which is a result of five years of work.

The artist’s performance, which was slated for 19 July, resulted in the festival getting longer by one day – the event will now run from 17 to 19 July. Its schedule will feature 14 Polish and international artists, whose names will be revealed over the course of the upcoming several weeks. Once again, the festival will take place in Społeczny Square, where last year we saw Michael Kiwanuka, SOHN, ONUKA, Król and many others.

The first batch of single-day tickets for 19.07 (99 PLN), as well as 3-day passes for all concerts taking place on 17-19.07 (249 PLN) will be available for purchase starting on 3 February at 9:00 a.m.

Tickets and passes can be purchased at www.wrosound.com, www.strefakultury.pl, www.eventim.pl, www.goingapp.pl, www.empikbilety.pl, in Empik and Media Markt stores, as well as brick-and-mortar Wrocław Culture Zone ticket offices.
