Emilia Marcjasz, artist and designer from Wrocław. She completed her first degree studies at the Academy of Physical Education, followed by a 5-year education at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, majoring in Art and Glass Design. In her work she mainly uses the material that is glass, testing its relationship with space and light. That is why he most often creates artistic installations and sculptures, which are inseparably connected with projection or lighting. She has participated in many group exhibitions, such as: "Vision of Glass - Edition IV" in the Karkonosze Museum in Jelenia Góra, "Clou of art" in the Gallery under the Dog, and "To work!" in the Neon Gallery, both in the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, "Fashion on Cranes - jewellery" in the National Museum in Wrocław. There was also participation in international projects, among others: the exhibition after the international competition Stanislav Libensky Award at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague, International Glass Biennial 2019 in Bulgaria. Author of an individual multimedia installation: "Journey", the "beginning" exhibition and "Desire" performance.

Emilia Marcjasz, a glass artist, will go to Ghent in Belgium for a residency at the Gentglas studio as part of Mobile Culture. The artist points out that she wants to build a lasting network of contacts between artists dealing with glass and wants to implement collaborative glass projects. She wants to gain knowledge and develop skills in hot sculpting and glass forming in various metallurgical techniques.
