The visit also allowed her to develop the educational and artistic project ‘Wołów – New York, New York – Wołów’, which has been carried out since 2017 in cooperation with cultural institutions in Wołów. As part of its first edition, artistic works were created and later presented at exhibitions in both cities. In New York, Gołubowska met other participants of this project and the places they portrayed, and then, during the second edition, she conducted workshops with participants of the ‘ARTonia’ programme, and also studied the works of Jackson Pollock, visiting, among others, the Museum of Modern Art and the artist's house.

The study visit was planned at the invitation of Krystyna Magaj-Pitula, who works at the New York School of Polish Language and Culture.
