Berlin Sessions Residency
The call, organised in cooperation with Berlin Sessions Residency, is addressed to the representatives of creative and academic environments, who are interested in models of cooperation between entities creating a cultural offer in the German capital, with particular emphasis on activities related to creative industries and activities carried out on the verge of art, activism and technology. During a four-week long stay in Berlin, the resident will have a chance to explore the city’s cultural circuits, expand knowledge of the Berlin art scene, learn about the structure and tools of the local environment, and establish new contacts in international circles.
Over the past two years, we send two representatives of the local community from Wrocław to Berlin. In 2017, Paweł Szroniak explored the scene of experimental music, while in 2018 Natalia Jerzak took up the mapping of practices related to the inclusion of homeless people in culture. Both residencies were directly related to the strategies implemented by Paweł and Natalia in Wrocław, enabling them to establish new contacts and promote their own projects abroad. Both residencies were summarized during panel discussions and meetings with practitioners and curators from Berlin.
How to apply in the call? All you need is to submit your application via e-mail until 8.02.2019. Submissions shall consist of your CV, portfolio or a presentation of your activities, as well as a motivation letter.
